Futures :: Forex Trading

Futures Broker :: RJO Futures

It looks like www.ZapFutures.com was bought out by RJO Futures, at least when you go to Zap’s website it now takes you to RJO Futures.

I send an email to RJO Futures asking about their discounted commissions, mostly just to see if they would answer their email in a timely manor.

I like to use email it is just more convenient for me than waiting until I have time to call, so the first test is to see if they answer or not.

If they answer (not all futures brokers will answer email) they always say their commissions depend on my trading or something like that.

They never want to commit themselves if they don’t have to.

The next thing they always want to know if how much you are paying now.  Heaven forbid that they should quote some sucker a low rate that is currently paying $80.00 a round turn.

Some brokers just don’t want to compete for discounted commissions, so they want to know if you’re trading at IB brokers or someplace like that so they can send you on your way since they know they will never be in the same ballpark with the commissions that you’re currently paying.
