PFG Brokers Not Sure About This One
I am looking at PFG now.
I am not sure if it is more important to have a broker who has no complaints filed against them or one who has a lot of money in the bank to cover you if things go bad.
Another issue I just figured out is also where your money is kept. I mean at what bank do they have your account. If something was to go wrong with the bank where your money is then it would be tied up as long as you have less than 100k then it should be insured but it would be a hassle.
PFG lost one case for
MISREPRESENTATION, UNAUTHORIZED TRADING AND RATIFICATION. RESPONDENTS PEREGRINE FINANCIAL GROUP, INC. AND WILLIAM BRANDENBURG ARE JOINTLY AND SEVERALLY LIABLE.
The award was $4,036.68

Those are pretty bad numbers.
Most of the Arbitration Awards were settled with out a money settlement, so that’s a good thing.
