Futures Spread Charts

I just realized while I was looking over some spread charts that for a while now I have been studying futures spreads that are mostly meaningless.

The futures charts that I have been looking at go back a few years, and I never really thought about it much.  For some reason this last time I got ready to roll over some futures contracts I really started looking at some of the spread charts.

I noticed that several years ago the spreads were quite different, this change in the spreads of futures really do you no good.  It’s mostly useless information.

And who needs more useless information when you trading futures, there is plenty of that going around already.
