Starting To Trade Hogs and More Cotton
Anyway, the newsletter I get says that China is really having a problems with their pork, and they eat a lot of it.
They have purchased something like 60 million pounds.
Here is what Forbes had to say:
BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China's pork prices are likely to rise further as blue-ear disease spreads due to the warm weather, with supply also held down by an import ban on selected frozen-meat products from the US, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing government and livestock industry sources.
So based on the Chinese buying the price of hogs should stay up and I am going to start scaling them at 70.
I am also going to buy some more cotton, and plan on holding it until next summer, when the new crops are planted farmers should be switching to Wheat and Soy beans, and away from cotton which should run the price up some.
